.hu is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Hungary.
Registrations may be made at the second level or at the third level beneath various second-level names.
Delegation of domains directly under the .hu public domain may be applied for by
a) any citizen of the European Union or
b) any natural person holding a permit for domiciliation in Hungary, or
c) i) any entity established by virtue of law,
ii) entered in the records of or registered with an authority or court, or
iii) any entity filing its respective application with the competent authority or court and commencing its operations pursuant and according to the law prior to such entry or registration, in the territory of the European Union
d) furthermore, the beneficiary of a trademark registered with the Hungarian Patent Office or granted protection rights in Hungary, too
